The Quamar Nemo QE coffee grinder is a new addition to the world of coffee, featured at Coffee Fest NY 2024. Its design is tailored for low to medium workloads and is well-suited for use in homes, offices, and cafes with relatively low volumes. For easy operation, the user-friendly Nemo QE has a color touchscreen display where dosing options such as single cup, double cup, and semi-automatic can be adjusted. Using 54mm flat burrs, expertly designed, the Nemo QE has a large grinding surface which makes production efficient. The sleek and compact design is perfect for any coffee shop and is available in a variety of colors and finishes to add convenience and style to your espresso bar.

Dimensions

• Low profile - The Quamar Nemo QE features a compact design with a short hopper, allowing it to easily fit beneath kitchen cabinets. Without the hopper, the grinder stands at approximately 10 inches tall, and with the hopper, it reaches around 14.25 inches, offering a total capacity of about 250 grams of whole coffee beans.
• Set screw - This screw secures the hopper to the grinder, serving as a safety measure to prevent users from quickly removing the hopper when it's full of beans.
• Fingerguard - Designed to prevent accidental contact with the grinding burrs, the fingerguard also helps minimize the "popcorning" effect of the beans during grinding.
• Stopper - Positioned near the bottom of the hopper, the stopper allows users to close the opening, facilitating easy removal of the hopper with beans inside. Before detaching the hopper, any beans in the burrs need to be ground out first.
• Ease of use - With the ability to support most portafilters, the Quamar Nemo QE enables hands-free grinding, offering a clearance of approximately 3 inches from the fork to the coffee chute.
• Adjustable and removable - Users can detach the fork to grind directly into a container. The fork is held in place by a flathead screw, and the clearance beneath the funnel is approximately 4.5 inches.
• Dosing cup - The grinder includes a small dosing cup that sits comfortably on the fork, accommodating approximately 30 grams of coffee grounds.
• Micro-stepped adjustments - Featuring multiple steps between each setting, the grinder allows for easy adjustment between different grind sizes, from espresso to other brewing methods. A locking tab on the left side keeps the adjustment dial secure in its position.
• Adjustment dial - Users can fine-tune the grind size by turning the dial clockwise for a coarser grind or counterclockwise for a finer grind. A flathead screw prevents adjustments that are too fine, avoiding contact between the burrs.
• Flat burrs - Equipped with large 54mm flat burrs, the grinder offers ample grinding surface, resulting in faster production.

• Dosing count - The grinder tracks dosing counts, with the top number indicating the current count, which can be reset, and the bottom number showing the lifetime count, which cannot be reset.
