Bezzera Matrix MN Overview

Bezzera has recently enhanced their Matrix espresso machines with a 20 amp power cord. For those with a 15 amp outlet, we have included an adapter for your convenience. Please note that if your outlet is 15 amps, it is not recommended to use both boilers simultaneously. During testing, we have programmed the machine to prioritize the "Coffee" boiler. It is strongly advised to maintain this setting for optimal performance. The Matrix MN boasts a sleek design, featuring rosewood accents, a stainless steel front panel, and customizable body colors to fit any kitchen or personal preference. Similar to the Bezzera DUO MN, the Matrix MN boasts dual boilers, one for steaming and one for brewing, both precisely controlled by individual PIDs. Along with the traditional E61 group, which continuously circulates hot water through the brew circuit, this ensures consistent and precise temperature control.

Features and Performance

The display of this espresso machine features a vivid touch screen and PIDs that allow for on-the-fly temperature adjustments. The brew temperature is shown on the left, while the right displays the steam temperature. In just a few clicks, programming options include setting specific times for the machine to turn on and off, switching between reservoir and plumbed operation, and accessing maintenance cycles. The display also notifies you when the water level is low and reminds you to replace or recharge the water filter as needed. To avoid the need for refills, the machine can be connected directly to a water line, making it easy to integrate a BWT filtration system and prevent scale buildup. One of our favorite features of the Matrix MN is the customizable side panels, which can be adjusted to any color within the RGB spectrum. Apart from its impressive appearance, this machine also produces delicious shots. Why You Should Get It

Not only does the Matrix MN have a ton of functionality for truly excellent shots, she’s just so pretty. That's to say, the light scattering side panels are a delight to play with, and easily start a conversation. The touchscreen display is a pleasure to use, and offers a surprisingly deep level of functionality and control. The PID controllers add incredible temperature stability as well, accessed and adjusted to your liking through the touchscreen display.
